Job Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer role involves managing both on-premises and cloud-based environments. As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that their infrastructure scales effectively and aligns with the evolving needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in DevOps principles and experience with automation and configuration management tools. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining projects within their infrastructure.
Responsibilities
• Manage and administer on-premises and cloud-based environments
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure the infrastructure supports current and future business requirements
• Utilize monitoring and analysis tools to collect and analyze system performance metrics and detect any problem that impacts revenue-generating activities
• Implement and oversee data quality monitoring tools to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the data pipeline
• Understand and assist in managing the network infrastructure, including maintaining and configuring firewalls and switches
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
• Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of infrastructure security
• The Senior DevOps Engineer role involves managing both on-premises and cloud VM-based server environments. As such, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the infrastructure scales effectively and aligns with the evolving needs of the business.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar
• Strong knowledge of VM-based server administration, both on-premises and in cloud environments
• Experience with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Proficiency in managing data pipelines and implementing data quality monitoring tools
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure management, including firewalls and switches
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams
